-Report to the Day Superintendent and Manager P&R, each shift’s significant activities, existing and potential bottlenecks, quality concerns and opportunities
-Manage the P&R during night shifts and weekends and report to on-call person and/or Day Superintendent as required.
-Provide support to Day Superintendent by supervising and coaching shift operating and maintenance employees (particularly on the off shifts) to achieve maximum performance including the recommendation of disciplinary action.
-Coordinate maintenance activities with Maintenance Supervisor.
-Ensure each day the mill is operated in accordance with health, safety and environmental regulation and company policy.
-Promote and provide a safe work place and implement and maintain a health & safety and housekeeping programs.
