Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: Base salary range is $85K – $97K. Northern Living Allowance provides an additional $6,000/year

Location: Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia
Education: Certification as a Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic, Millwright, Electrician, Welder, or significant relevant experience is an asset.
Experience:
A minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in an open pit mining environment
Must come from a background in Heavy Duty Mechanics.

Literacy skills including the ability to read manuals and regulatory requirements

Knowledgeable in mine operations standards, policies, procedures and processes
Ability to take full responsibility with minimum supervision for safety, production and quality of mine operations
Know and understand mine equipment safety standards
Preparation of work schedules and performance reports
Understanding of short and long term planning objectives.
